Q1. What can I do when my printer continuously rejects Printheads?
A. Follow these steps:
1. Clean the contacts on the Printhead and Carriage.
2. Remove all Printheads from the Carriage and try installing just the rejected Printhead. If the Printhead is rejected then replace the Printhead with a new one. If the new Printhead is not rejected then check, one-by-one, if other Printheads are not rejected.
3. If points 1 & 2 fail to solve your ploblem, contact us.

Q2. What can I do to solve image quality problems?
A. Consult your User Manual. If this is Printer/rip or media and ink related, we have the facility to calibrate your system.

Q3. I use a graphics printer and rip, are you able to colour calibrate my printer?
A. Yes. PT Store has colour calibrating hardware and software.

Q4. My Printhead has failed and I have just started using a new one?
A. Please advise us on the details and we will replace the faulty Printhead.

Q5. How do I clear a paper jam?
A. Follow these steps:
1. Switch the printer off and release the media.
2. Carefully move the printhead carriage out of the way – if possible all the way to the left or right side. Which way you are able to move it depends on where the paper is jammed. If the printer was in the process of cutting media at the time of the jam, the cutter carriage will be attached to the carriage and will move with it.
3. Carefully remove any of the jammed media which you can easily lift up and out from the top of the printer.
4. Remove the rest of the roll or sheet from the printer.
5. Make sure that everything is back to its normal position and switch the printer on.
6. Load the paper as normal.

Q6. My printer says that it is “Out of Memory Data Lost” or it is not printing the whole print?
A. The current file is too large for the printer’s memory; printer has run out of disk space to processing the file. To print files of this size, you will need to install more memory in your printer contact us

Q7. What do I do when my printer displays a system error message?
A. Some errors can be rectified by turning the printer off and on again. If this does not solve the issue please contact us

Q2. I have just received srim vinyl that has crease marks at one end of the roll, what do I do?
A. Please advise us on the invoice details and we will replace the item.
